The critical acclaim which appeared after the exhibitions of the artist Clement Billieres was extremely enthusiastic. << It is at the moment of the awarding of the Beaux Arts’ Gold Palm from the International Arts Guild that we have really discovered this artist - modest and little inclined to sacrifice himself to the showy habits of art advertising and publicity. He works alone and appreciates calm, having travelled a lot. We understand when we see his recent compositions that Clement Billieres can indeed feel pleasure when he paints. We can feel the joy that directed his search for harmony, and the fervour with which the painter has given his work the mission to pass on his most generous aspirations to the public. This colourist, from whom the lyricism is the reflection of a balanced thinker’s soul, guarantees this is not the last you will hear from him. >> Les Cents Signatures / André Charles Rousseau << Clément Billières has the sensibility of a reserved man. No verbal exuberance to splash out his state of mind. He leaves his public the freedom to interpret his feelings. His harmonies translate an interior lyricism which bursts out in colours. Do not look for the wretched painter’s fantasies pushed to a masochistic delirium. No, Clément Billières is a dreamer without nightmares. >> La Presse de la Manche The painter Clément Billières lives in Paris region, after university studies to the Faculty of Human Science of Provence Aix Marseille.
